This Web site is designed to assist  supermarkets and meat and poultry processors in complying with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) new regulation, "Nutrition Labeling of Ground or chopped Meat or Poultry Products and Single-Ingredient Products,"which takes effect in 2012. As the meat, poultry and retail industries implement the new labeling rule, the Coalition will offer support by supplying the tools and resources needed to provide comprehensive, accurate labeling in the meat case.
